8 April 2022

In this blog post, guest writers and Oxfordshire History Centre volunteers, Malcolm Graham and Colin Harris, explore the fascinating topographical image collections of Henry Minn, and of father and son, John Buckler and John Chessell Buckler.

The original collections of Minn photographs and Buckler drawings are held by the Bodleian Library, and copy photographs of both collections were supplied to Oxfordshire History Centre some years ago. With the Bodleian's permission, and with generous funding from the Oxfordshire Family History Society, Oxfordshire History Centre's copy photographs have now been digitised and are available online for the first time on Picture Oxon.
